Inspiration by Ellie is a blog site created by Eleanor Parks. Eleanor is an imperfect person who became a born-again Christian. She resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has had a life-long passion for writing, often creating and reciting various inspirational literary works for family members and friends, church events, special occasions, or just to warm someone’s heart. She is working on her first book, which she hopes to complete soon, and a line of specialty greeting cards.
She worked as an administrative assistant most of her life, up until 2010 when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and her symptoms gradually increased to disabled status. Nonetheless, she persevered and attended Colorado Christian University, where she graduated magna cum laude in May 2018, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Communications. Eleanor loves the Bible!
Besides writing, Eleanor also enjoys volunteering her time as an MS activist, supporting others living with the disease. She likes swimming, listening to several types of music, and dancing. She also likes to cook but equally dine out. She is a proud single mother of one adult son, Bryant, and grandmother to two bright, beautiful granddaughters–Amiyah and Azariah.
